Fit 4 Start #15 saw over 420 applicants from 70 countries vying for a spot in the renowned Luxembourg acceleration programme. 20 startups were eventually selected to be part of this cohort, and in just half a year, these companies have made incredible strides both home and abroad.
“Each team has shown determination and flexibility in the face of the challenges encountered. It's a demanding process: you have to quickly validate your hypotheses, adapt to the market, make key decisions on your launch strategy, and above all, dare to meet your first customers. The progress already made is more than promising. We are convinced that this collective of startups has all the cards in hand to turn its ambitions into concrete successes over the years to come,” says Martin Guerin, Senior Advisor for Start-Up Relations at Luxinnovation, the agency in charge of managing the programme.
Here's a glimpse some of the milestones from this cohort:
- Aeon: Fit 4 Start transformed Aeon's big-picture vision into a laser-focused product play. By homing in on civil-construction surveyors and sharpening its pitch through rapid feedback loops, Aeon validated the niche, nailed an MVP timeline, and built a fundraising story that investors can rally behind.
- Algora: Over the past six months, Algora welcomed its first angel investors, made its first strategic hire, and launched its first paid pilot.
- Elora: Elora raised €1.7 million in pre-seed funding to develop the beta version of its product, Elora Call – AI assistants that are multilingual, fluent in French, German, English and Luxembourgish, and can easily switch languages within the same conversation.
- Essembl: Essembl won the jury’s Coup de Cœur award during the Startup World Cup Luxembourg 2025. It also reached 1 million users on its application and now plans to scale towards 10 million users globally in the next two years.
- Exosbisphere: Out of 10 impressive finalists, Exobiosphere won the Startup World Cup Luxembourg 2025. The startup will now represent Luxembourg at the grand finale in San Francisco for a chance to win a $1 million investment. It also raised €2 million in a seed round to scale its orbital high-throughput screening platform.
- Data Secure: For the company, Fit 4 Start has been an excellent "secure sandbox" for identifying potential challenges and validating its strengths. This invaluable experience has sharpened its focus and will support its growth in the most impactful way.
- Global Particle Therapy: The countless exchanges with the jury, coaches and fellow participants, rapidly propelled both the founder’s personal growth and the company’s strategic development. These interactions were instrumental in helping the company refine its vision and achieve significant progress in a short time.
- Kyomei: One of the most defining moments in its accelerator journey was realising the importance of listening to the market. Kyomei pivoted from its initial idea and built something that directly responds to real customer needs, which unlocked real traction and shaped its path forward.
- Letztrail: The positive coaching challenged assumptions and helped redefine the business model. One of the most valuable lessons for the company was internalising that true growth only comes after achieving solid product-market fit. The mantra “nail it before you scale it” has become a guiding principle in everything it does.
- Partao: The support the Fit 4 Start coaches helped in refining the value proposition for customers and go to market strategy, which helped to accelerate its progress. In a pre-seed round led by Mangrove Capital Partners, Partao raised €3 million in funding.
- Social Cooling: The startup progressed from a 3D concept to a physical MVP, validated its business model by acquiring numerous high-relevance early adopters, including the municipalities of Strassen, Bertrange and Vienna (AT), as well as the REWE Group. Along the way, it has also generated over €60,000 in revenue and built a fully operational, highly skilled team.
- TradDocs: The company explains that it has been a tough yet incredibly rewarding past six months. Learning how to express a business through numbers and logic was a key turning point.
- Zenzen: The startup came from Berlin to Luxembourg to grow from pre-seed to seed and scale its operations. Every bit of constructive feedback ultimately transformed into powerful support. Backing from the entire ecosystem has been instrumental in its progress.
The successful graduates of the cohort will be revealed at the Fit 4 Start Graduation Ceremony, which will take place on 17 June as part of Nexus Luxembourg (17-18 June 2025), to celebrate the growth of the startups and announce key details for the next edition.
