Luxembourg is committed to helping entrepreneurs reach their full potential and promising startups get off to a flying start. Several programmes and initiatives offer concrete support.

Get support along the road to success

The Luxembourg startup ecosystem includes a mix of public and private players that are working alongside entrepreneurs to help them during their startup journey. Many of Luxembourg’s incubators do not only offer premises to startups but also support programmes and advice.

Initiatives cover a wide variety of fields, from hands-on advice on the practical aspects of creating a company provided by the House of Entrepreneurship to the coaching and seed funding offered by acceleration programme Fit 4 Start and assistance with reaching international markets through Catapult or Gener8tor.

Benelux Catalyst

The BeNeLux Catalyst is a 3-week, no-equity accelerator program for high-growth tech startups working together to kick start their international growth in the US market.

Catapult: Inclusion Africa

Catapult targets fintech startups focusing on financial inclusion in Africa. It aims at building bridges between Africa and Europe and highlights relevant initiatives in line with the goals of Luxembourg’s financial centre.

Catapult: Kickstarter

Catapult: Kickstarter is a Fintech acceleration programme for early stage startups. The programme is aimed at helping early stage, innovative, fintech entrepreneurs to develop their business models.

The ESRIC Start-up Support Programme aims at supporting European early-stage ventures and startups designing novel technologies for space resources applications in refining their business plan, attracting customers and securing their first investments.

Luxembourg’s leading startup acceleration programme, Fit 4 Start offers 6 months of intensive coaching, up to €150,000 pre-seed capital, free access to co-working space and valuable networking opportunities in Luxembourg.

Founder Institute

As the world’s largest pre-seed startup accelerator, Founder Institute has helped over 4,000 startups raise over $900M in funding, get in touch with seed-accelerators, generate traction, recruit a team, build a product, and more.

The US programme gener8tor focuses in particular on industry 4.0, fintech/insurtech and health technologies. Each year, 5 startups from Luxembourg have the opportunity to participate in a 3-week digital programme to start making business contacts and evaluate opportunities in the American market.

A non-profit organisation that offers practical support and activities to include more women and men in the digital field as well as the contribution to build a more diverse workforce and a wider ICT talent pipeline for Luxembourg.

Tomorrow Street Scaleup X programme links innovative tech scaleups with decision makers from Vodafone to collaborate to enable new business opportunities and drive digital transformation.
