First official Fit 4 Scale cohort takes shape

Five companies have been selected for the first Fit 4 Scale cohort, launching a new phase of tailored support for high-growth companies in Luxembourg.

Organised by Luxinnovation together with the Ministry of the Economy, the Fit 4 Scale programme supports companies with strong growth potential and international ambition, while strengthening structured scaleup support in Luxembourg. It is part of the Luxembourg government’s 10-points action plan to strengthen the startup and scaleup ecosystem.

Rigorous selection led by experienced entrepreneurs

After the Fit 4 Scale call closed in December 2025, 10 companies were pre-selected and invited to an on-site pitching session. Each candidate presented its scaleup strategy in a seven-minute pitch, followed by a short Q&A session and discussion.

The final selection was carried out by five independent lead mentors, all experienced entrepreneurs or senior business leaders with proven backgrounds in scaling and fundraising: Christophe Bianco, co-founder of Excellium Services, part of Thales; Genna Elvin, co-founder of Tadaweb; Robert Glaesener, Advisor; Tom Michels, co-founder of Salonkee; and Xavier Buck, co-founder of eBrand.

Selected companies are:

Companies were assessed individually against key criteria, including value proposition and innovation, growth trajectory and international ambition, team quality and relevance for the Fit 4 Scale framework. In addition to the formal evaluation criteria, mentors paid particular attention to each company’s ability to fully leverage one-to-one entrepreneurial support, which is at the heart of the programme.

Supporting the next scaling phase

Over the coming months, the five selected companies will be formally onboarded into the Fit 4 Scale programme. They will benefit from intensive one-to-one mentoring with their lead mentors, expert sessions, deep-dive modules on scaling challenges including sales and finance, AI acceleration support, capital access guidance, visibility support and targeted internationalisation assistance tailored to their growth challenges.

Fit 4 Scale is designed as a demanding journey, requiring commitment and execution from the participating companies. At the same time, it offers a unique support system aligned with the realities of scaling, giving each company the opportunity to accelerate growth and pursue international ambitions with experienced guidance.

Fit 4 Scale is a strategic pillar of Luxembourg’s scaleup journey. By combining entrepreneurial mentoring with tailored support, the programme helps high-potential companies transition from strong local players into internationally competitive scaleups, while reinforcing the role of startups as drivers of innovation and economic impact.”
Michele Gallo, Director Startup and Scaleup, Ministry of the Economy

The programme officially kicks off in early March 2026 with a joint event bringing together participants and the wider support ecosystem and will run until its closing session at Luxembourg Venture Days in October 2026.
