Investre is proud to announce that its Co-Founder, Ala Presenti, has won the Start-Up Award at the WOMEN IN TECH® Europe Awards 2025.
The WOMEN IN TECH® Global Movement celebrates women who are transforming the technology landscape through innovation, leadership, and impact. Selected among hundreds of nominees across Europe, Ala was recognized for her pioneering work in building Moniflo, operated by Investre, a Luxembourg-based fintech. The Moniflo App makes investing accessible to everyone — simple, low-cost, and barrier-free — through the use of blockchain technology and fund tokenisation.
“This award is not only recognition for Investre and Moniflo — it’s a milestone for Luxembourg and for women across the European tech ecosystem. We’re no longer waiting for permission. We’re building, leading, funding, coding, and contributing to policymaking.” - Ala Presenti
At its core, Moniflo is part of Investre’s broader strategy to build a DLT-powered, end-to-end infrastructure for the asset management industry. The platform reimagines how people invest by allowing anyone — regardless of wealth or financial background — to start investing in regulated mutual funds with no minimum entry barriers, transparent costs, and a human-centered digital experience.
Built on Investre’s live distributed ledger technology, Moniflo proves that fund tokenisation is no longer theoretical, it’s operating successfully today. The platform showcases how DLT can deliver real-world accessibility, transparency, and efficiency at scale, setting a new standard for how funds are distributed and managed across Europe.
Ala was selected as one of five finalists alongside Manon Frajman, Manel Chikh, Anna Cejudo, and Camila Rodrigues de Carvalho, all exceptional founders driving Europe’s startup ecosystem forward. The finalists were chosen by an esteemed jury including Cristina Marques, Juliette Malherbe, Alessandra Guion-Gambrill, Jan Demey, Olivia de Bie, Sarah Levin Weinberg, Charlotte Deprez, and Peggy Khor Peters.
The award also reinforces Luxembourg’s position as a European leader in financial innovation, bridging technology, inclusion, and impact.
Ala will now represent Europe at the WOMEN IN TECH® Global Finals in Paris on November 14, 2025, bringing Luxembourg’s voice to the global stage.
As a regional award winner, she is now a finalist for the Global Start-Up Award, where winners will be announced live during the ceremony. The event marks the grand finale of WOMEN IN TECH®’s three-month world tour, celebrating innovation and leadership across seven regions — Latin America, North America, Africa, Europe, Asia-Pacific, MENA, and the Caucasus & Central Asia — uniting and spotlighting women who are shaping the future of technology worldwide.
“Awards matter, but what matters more is turning them into fuel — fuel to push harder, take up space, and keep the door open for others to walk through.”
