Scale talks with… Joost van Oorschot, co-founder and CEO of Maana Electric.
Joost van Oorschot is Dutch but he has lived in 12 countries around the world before he chose to come to Luxembourg. The company he created 4 years ago, Maana Electric, is a deeptech startup that has developed a mobile factory made up of 7 shipping containers which can produce solar panels from desert sand and electricity.
Today, Maana Electric has offices in Luxembourg, The Netherlands and United Arab Emirates. It just raised its first equity investment round a few months ago in order to commercialise its solution.
